Groww's referral page states that, as per exchange regulations, referred users signing up after 20th May are not eligible for rewards; the referrer continues to be paid. Groww does not publish the referrer amount, so we don't list one.
Groww's referral programme now pays one side only. Exchange regulations changed on 20 May, and since then the person opening the account gets no reward — Groww's own referral page says so directly. The person who shared the link still earns. Using a Groww link is worth it if you were opening an account anyway and want to pass the reward to whoever shared it; it is not worth it for a signup bonus, because there isn't one.

Will I get a reward for signing up with a referral link?
No. Groww's referral page states that for all signups after 20th May, the referred user is not eligible for rewards, as per exchange regulations. Only the referrer is paid. Anyone still advertising a signup bonus for Groww is quoting terms that no longer apply.
Then why use a referral link at all?
Only to pass the reward to whoever shared it. If you were going to open a Groww account regardless, using someone's link costs you nothing and pays them. If you're choosing a broker based on a joining bonus, Groww currently doesn't have one.
How much does the referrer get?
Groww doesn't publish the amount, and we won't guess. Figures circulating on third-party sites range from ₹25 to ₹200 and none of them cite Groww. We'll list it here once Groww states it.
